Blog #2: Finding Your “Why”
Thanks for tuning in to the second blog of Session 41, a Naples, Florida based personal training company designed to prevent injury and get you feeling and moving better. Blog #2 discusses why it so important to have a strong foundation.
It all starts with a “why.” There can be endless “why’s”: maybe you want to lose weight, maybe you want to change your body image and your self image with it, or maybe it’s time to take care of your health but you don’t know where to start. Clarify your “why” because it truly is the foundation for change. Use it to remind yourself day in and day out as you continue along the journey that is health and fitness. Although it is a daily battle to construct and continue good habits, there truly are no limits in just how far you can run with it.
Clarify your “why,” and constantly remind yourself. In this blog post, I challenge you to make one small change today that will edge you closer to a fitness goal you may have been putting off. This may be a slight decrease in your usual junk food or dessert intake or even a slightly longer gym session. The key here is to make small changes. Small things lead to big things. Too often, people go to the extremes with diet or an exercise program but are unable to sustain it. If there was one thing that led to success in your overall health, it would be consistency. Make your life enjoyable, and keep adding on those small changes.
Having a personal trainer can give you that extra touch of accountability both in and out of the gym. A trainer can also maximize your training’s results. My objective here is to help transform your motivation into tangible fitness outcomes, or, at least give some free insight with these blogs to help you be a little more consistently consistent.
Happy Training,
Ethan Gendron
